Should kids be allowed to chew gum in school? I don’t think that you should let kids chew gum.
One reason we shouldn’t chew gum in school is that it is distracting to kids by blowing bubbles. It also gets kids to talk with the kids blowing bubbles and get them in trouble.
Another reason is that kids try to steal gum from other kids. Also kids get gum and chew it then they put their gum in their hair and on desks, walls, and chairs. It also carries diseases and other kids could get the bug, flu, headaches, upset tummy, and strep throat.
Another reason is it damages your teeth and your jaws. It can also damage clothes that you wear to school by people putting their gum on other people and themselves. I don’t think we should be able to chew gum. I hope you make it permanent.
Sincerely, Jack B.
