You are invited you to join one of our new AACPS Secret No More Book Clubs. Join community members from across the county to read and discuss local author Lisa Hillman’s first person account of her journey to support a child struggling with addiction. Together we can raise awareness and promote resources about the current opioid crisis in Anne Arundel County.
We will be offering the book clubs in three different formats (Face-to-Face, Online, & Twitter Chats) beginning this week and we would love for you to join the discussion. More information about the book clubs (including the registration link) is available at www.aacps.org/bookclub.
With this growing epidemic in Anne Arundel County, it is imperative that we all join in this conversation about drug addiction as it is not just in our back yard, but possibly in our own homes. We need to come together as a community to fight this crisis. If you are interested in attending, another Anne Arundel County-sponsored Not My Child event will take place locally at CBMS on Wednesday, November 8 (doors open at 6:15 pm). Join the discussion.
